4pm - 5:30pm (Doors 3:30pm)
We are delighted to bring back this archive screening of the 1988 documentary film Leithers by Alistair Scott, exploring life in Leith in the 1980s, on the Sunday afternoon of our micro-film festival. LeithLate first screened the hugely popular Leithers in 2019 with Cinetopia at Leith Theatre to a sold out audience. The film documents the people who lived and worked in Leith during the eighties and examines the changing socio-economic landscape of Leith at that time.
The film screening will be introduced by film-maker Alistair Scott, Associate Professor of Film & TV at Edinburgh Napier University and followed by a short panel discussion after the film about Leith's past, present and future.
All Tickets are Name-Your-Price on Citizen Tickets. Spaces are limited to allow for social distancing.
