The X in Scotland // Q&A with Kokumo Rocks & Joseph Malik // Live Performances

Pics N Mix kicks off with the archive screening of director Lucy Enfield’s 1993 short, The X in Scotland. The film is part documentary, part drama examining the influence and importance of Malcom X’s words and teachings to Black and People of Colour (BPoC) in Scotland.

Intercultural Youth Scotland (IYS) will then host a Q&A with co-writer and musician Joseph Malik and poet and performer Kokumo Rocks, who was also featured in the original film. IYS will close this section with performances of poetry and rap from some of the young people working with the organisation.

All Tickets are Name-Your-Price on Citizen Tickets. Spaces are limited to allow for social distancing.

All films will be captioned.

This is an unreserved seated event on the 1st floor with a lift.
